Career guidance seminar at KVASU- Students should select courses based on interest

Students should select courses based on interest, aptitude and goal setting, says Dr. T. P Sethumadhavan, leading educational consultant and Director of Entrepreneurship of Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University. The seminar on Career guidance for tenth and eleventh students of JawaharNavodayaVidyalaya and Ekalavya Model Residential School was held at Kabani auditorium of Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, as part of the Wayanad 2030 tribal development project on 16^th August 2017. The students along with their parents and teachers should decide what next after plus two. Science, technology, engineering, mathematics, social sciences, journalism, design engineering etc has abundant scope in India. Hard work, physical environment, goal in the right direction can lead to better job prospects. Service sector offers vast career opportunities; now a day, global village concept is gaining importance in education sector. Dr. P.Vidya, Assistant Profesoor addressed the audience. About 300 students attended the seminar.
