Department Profile

The Dairy Chemistry Department is responsible for imparting knowledge in the field of Dairy Chemistry, Food Chemistry and Quality Assurance. The department keenly undertakes measures to develop techniques that facilitates quality check at every point in a food processing chain.

Activities
 

  • Conducting undergraduate dairy chemistry courses
  • Organizing training to students, farmers, entrepreneurs and researchers in the field of quality assurance
  • Research activities focused on devising methods for safe food preservation, quality check as well as quality maintenance.
