The Department of Veterinary Surgery and Radiology conducts training programme of 5 to 10 days duration for veterinary surgeons of Animal Husbandry Department of Kerala on radiology, orthopaedics, anaesthelology and operation theatre management regularly and training manuals are provided to trainees. The department acts as referral centre to the field veterinarians on surgical problems. Clinical services are extended to the farmers through the Veterinary Hospitals and at the door steps of the farmers.
