Veterinary medical help is extended to farmers at their door step by ambulatory service in association with Department of Animal Reproduction, Cherumkuzhy and Malamukku milk societies.
Other extension activities include continuous Veterinary education to field veterinarians and classes for farmers. Disease investigations in government and private farms and technical help for selection of superior farm animals are other mandates of this department.
