The department has periodically been organizing training programmes for various stakeholder categories like farmers, entrepreneurs, extension workers, veterinary surgeons, para veterinarians etc. Out-reach programmes such as animal husbandry exhibitions, farmers’ seminars and campaigns have also been organized in different parts of the state. Besides, the department provides consultancy services to entrepreneurs, voluntary organizations and other stake holders on demand.
