*Ph.D in  Veterinary Gynaecology & Obstetrics , 2015, Karnataka Veterinary & Fisheries Sciences University 

*Diploma in veterinary laparoscopy from Centre for minimal access surgery, research & training, Coimbatore, India.

Area of Research

Thrust areas of research:

  • Canine high risk pregnancies - Methods to reduce neonatal mortality
  • Expression of Contraction regulating genes and hormone receptors in canine primary uterine inertia  
  • Elucidating factors controlling the patency of cervix in canine pyometra 
  • Repeat breeding cows with prolonged oestrus - Sonographic assessment of follicular and luteal characteristics

Future research prospective

  • Ultrasound guided amniocentesis for assessment of Foetal pulmonary maturity in the dog 
  • Elucidating the mechanism of differential luteolytic cascades in pregnant and non-pregnant dioestrus in dogs
  • Elective caesarean in dogs with high-risk pregnancy with higher periparturient progesterone levels 
  • Neonatal mortality in dogs – Role of subclinical mastitis  
  • Standardization of therapeutic / managemental methods of oestrus induction in cats

Co-principal investigator for RSVY project (2010-2011)- on “Livestock based production system for rural livelihood security “at CVAS, Pookode, Wayanad -Rs. 102.33 L
Principal Investigator for KSCSTE Student project (2020-2021): Decreasing the inter-oestrous interval in dogs using prolactin antagonist cabergoline at anoestrus. 
Associating scientist for NAIP scheme (2010-2011) on “Multi enterprise farming models to address agrarian crisis of wayanad district” implemented through RARS, Ambalavayal.
Associating member for implementation of NABARD (RIDF) project on “Multidisciplinary peripheral veterinary hospital”

Recipient of ‘Achiever’s award” for the year 2017 and 2019 instituted by CVAS, Mannuthy
Intas Polivet best article award for the article published in Intas Polivet Vol.17 (2016).
