Have prepared and issued about 10 projects for starting piggery/dairy and Integrated farming to progressive farmers and unemployed youth. Have offered 22 undergraduate courses on swine, Laboratory animals, Equines and pets, farm training, Livestock economics, Sheep and Goat production for the Veterinary students and courses on Livestock Production to Students from College of Co-operation and Banking and Management, Dairy Husbandry to Dairy Diploma students and course on Animal Management to Horticulture students. Offered 26 Post graduate courses on various field of Livestock Production Management. Completed four curriculum improvement activities including preparation of video film and album of Animal Breeds. Acted as a Scientist in All India Co-ordinated Research Project on Pigs and; and contributed in the development of crossbred pigs in Kerala. Acted as co-Principle Investigator of the National Agricultural Technology Project and played an important role in the development of Piggery sector in the State. Coordinated various Earn While You Learn Students project to develop Entrepreneurship and work confidence among students. Organized two National conferences. various training programme including two Resource pool trainings and other professional events. Established models of Ecofarm, Integrated farming and Farm tourism at ILFC, Pookode and Department of Livestock Production Management . College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Mannuthy. . Have membership in twelve professional organizations and as a member in Expert Committees/External Examiner in various positions held, to about seventy six numbers. Have undertaken 25 projects including in Earn While You Learn Students Projects.

Guided five PG and One  Ph.D students as Major Advisor and 38 as Minor Advisor in Post Graduate and Doctoral level, 37 students at Under Graduate level for their dissertation work and four students from lndira Gandhi National Open University for their Post Graduate programme. Guided 38 Under Graduate Students for project preparation. At present, guiding two Ph. D students  as Major advisor.

Have published 162 papers/abstracts (54 as first author and 108 as co.author on various topics, 16 reports, 24 books, 31 popular articles and l13 leaflet communications. Involved in more than 60 extension job oriented training, radio programmes, Development of video films and training to Veterinary Surgeons, Involved in about 140 extension activities.
